Dean Stokes is an experienced executive and board-level leader with a strong track record of delivering transformational change across higher education, government, and public sector organisations. With deep expertise in strategy development, organisational transformation, and programme delivery, Dean has led large-scale change initiatives in culturally diverse and complex environments.

Dean brings multi-level insight into the higher education landscape, having worked with universities and public institutions on strategy execution, performance management, and stakeholder alignment. He is passionate about education and skills policy, currently chairing the Education and Skills Special Interest Group for the Institute of Directors (IoD), where he connects professionals committed to improving training and development across the UK.

As a member of the LIAS Advisory Board, Dean contributes strategic and operational insight to support the institute’s development as a forward-looking, professionally aligned education provider. His background in public policy, governance, and project portfolio management helps LIAS navigate regulatory expectations while building a strong and sustainable institutional foundation.
